Advertisements and the Seven Deadly Sins #3

Author- Adidas

From a first glance at this add, it's obviously about sex. It's almost too obvious. Just as obvious that the intended audience is men. When I see a pair of heels and lingerie I automatically think sex is the topic.  Looking at the caption from a more logical view, " the first things she notices are your shoes." I personally do not believe this completely true on behalf of the straight women in the world. Adidas is obviously trying to tug at a man's pride and pants to basically say that if you're not wearing a fly shoe like theirs then you not getting none. That simple. Men swear that women  will droll over them just because they look good or attractive. Chances are, women know when a man is handsome only from the exterior and not the interior as well. But, I don't have these problems so this is just what I think based off of what I see and the type of guys I have been around and grew up around. I don't really know what men are. I just know that their part of the reason I'm here and that's about it for me. And that they fix cars and my grande vanilla bean frappuccinos. Adidas are really nice shoes and what makes them so good is that they aren't the most expensive shoes on the market. I would wear Adidas much faster before I put Jordan's on my size 11's. Adidas has been known to be worn more for an urban look hints the font in the add. The add is in black and white and I personally like black and white pictures. I think it makes certain images subductive. The language used is very simple to understand and it directly links to the imagery presented in the add. Almost as if the text is supposed to be informal even though the statement is probably false. It persuades men to go out and buy this shoe in hopes of actually getting laid. Good luck bud.
